How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your Self: Read to Rise account and all associated data, please email us at support@selfreadrise.com with the subject line "Delete My Account."
We will process your request within 30 days of receiving your email.
What Gets Deleted
Once your account deletion is processed, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account information — your name, email address, and profile details
- Highlights & notes — all saved highlights, annotations, and personal notes
- Reading activity — your reading history and progress data
- Preferences & settings — any customizations or app preferences
- Subscription data — billing details linked to your account (active subscriptions should be cancelled separately via your app store — see below)
Important Things to Know
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once completed, your data cannot be recovered.
- If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before requesting deletion to avoid further charges:
- iOS — Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions and cancel Self: Read to Rise.
- Android — Open Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions and cancel Self: Read to Rise. (Self: Read to Rise Coming Soon on Android)
- We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention), as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
